"I'm looking forward to the collaboration between Bakrie University and Central Queensland University in the frame work of MM-MBA program," said Prof. Ir. Sofia W. Alisjahbana, M.Sc., Ph.D. after a meeting between Bakrie University and Central Queensland University in the Garuda Room, Bakrie University (30/1) reached an agreement to sign the MoU in the next two weeks.

Central Queensland University (CQUniversity) Australia will be the only overseas campus that has its own campus building in Jakarta, Indonesia and is now exploring Bakrie University as the only University in Indonesia to collaborate on a dual-degree program (MM-MBA program). CQUniversity Australia is one of the largest universities in Australia.

The campuses are spread across Queensland, Sydney and Perth. CQUniversity Australia is one of the first dual sector universities in Queensland, offering more than 300 programs including training, undergraduate and graduate programs, and internships. CQUniversity is also in the top 2% of the best in the world. CQUniversity is also known as one of the best universities for graduate starting salaries, as many as 80.4% of graduates are accepted to work within 3 months after graduating from college.

This figure is 10% higher than the national average. The benefit of this Dual Degree is that besides allowing students to get two academic degrees at the same time, it also makes graduates have a lot of added value including having a plus while working, opportunities to expand networks, and hone creativity and the ability to innovate.
